Ingredients

    5 small apples, washed and cored.
    1/2 cup pecans
    3/4 cup raisins, golden raisins or dried fruit
    scant lemon juice
    8 oz. orange juice
    1 pat butter
    1 cinnamon stick (or dried cinnamon to taste)

Directions

Arrange cored apples in crockpot (leave skin on). Stuff each with mixture of raisins or dried fruit, lemon juice and chopped pecans. Slowly pour orange juice over the stuffed apples. Dot very lightly with butter. Break a cinnamon stick and place the broken pieces on top of each apple. Cover and cook for 7-9 hours on low or 3 1/2-4 hours on high. Makes 5 servings.
