Ingredients

1/4 cup chickpea flour (you can buy this at middle eastern/indian stores or make it by grinding roasted chickpeas)
1 fat garlic clove, minced OR 1 tsp garlic powder
SPICES (you can use any spices you want, but these are the "classic" selection):
    black pepper (1 dash-1 tsp)
    ground cumin (1/2 tsp)
    tumeric (1/4-1/2 tsp)
salt OR celery salt (1 dash - 1 tsp)

Directions

Mix thoroughly and then coat your fish (catfish is my favorite).

You could (for an additional 30 cal per serving) add 1/4 warm water and 1 tbsp vegetable oil, let sit for 30 minutes (you might notice the chickpea flour fizzes, that is okay) and use that batter to fry fish and vegetables.

Either way, this is a great alternative to regular gluten or white bread options.
