Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1/2 C water
    2 t. butter
    1/2t sugar
    1/2t lemon juice
    pinch salt
    2 C Julienne-cut parsnips (2 inch)
    2C Julienne-cut carrots (2 inch)
    1T parsley

Directions

Combine first 5 ingredients in a heavy pot; Stir well. Add parsnips and carrots; toss well. Place over medium heat; cover and cook 10 minutes. Uncover and cook an additional 10 minutes. (serving size approx 1 Cup)
