Introduction

Trying to up your veggie intake--these sloppy joes will do the trick. Trying to up your veggie intake--these sloppy joes will do the trick.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 cup diced onion
    1 cup diced carrot
    1/2 cup diced celery
    1 cup diced mushrooms
    1 12 oz can tomatoe paste
    1 15 oz can diced tomatoes, blended
    1/4 cup ketchup
    2 Tb cider vinegar
    3 Tb worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1/4 tsp garlic powder

Directions

Saute ground beef with all the veggies, until beef is brown. Drain. Add tomatoe sauce, blended tomatoes, ketchup & seasonings. Simmer for 30 min.

Serves 12 (1/2 cup servings)
