Ingredients

    2 c flour
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 stick butter
    3/4 c sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 c chocolate chips

Directions

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl. Cream butter. Then add sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, blending. Add vanill and then dry ingreds. Add chocolate chips and blend.

Cut parchment paper to fit cookie sheet. Place dough on paper and for into loaf approx 2 in tall and 3 in wide. Flour on hands and outside of loaf to make less sticky. Bake at 350 for 35 mins. Take out of oven and cool on a rack for 10 mins. Slice loaf in 3/4" slices (approx 15). Lay slices flat on parchment paper and put back in oven for 15 more mins. Cool on rack. Makes approx 15 servings.
