Introduction
I like to eat a big breakfast that fills me up for hours, I find if I start my day off with carbohydrates I get very hungry very early so I start off with lean proteins and veggies. It keeps me full for hours! Ingredients
-
4oz (or one cup) of chopped up ham
2 Large eggs
1/2 Cup chopped green bell peppers
1/4 Cup chopped onions
1 Teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 Tablespoon minced garlic
2 Tablespoons Salsa
Directions
Make sure you prep everything before you start cooking. Cut up and measure out your onions, your green peppers, and your ham. Scramble two eggs (I add a dash of salt and pepper), and place them on the side. Measure out your olive oil, and your garlic and add them to the pan first. Then add your ham, onions, and green peppers. Saute the mix for a few minutes or until lightly browned, then add the eggs. Cook until eggs are cooked through, put on a plate and top with some of your favorite salsa!! It's a delicious way to start your morning and takes about a total of ten minutes. It is a large portion, so if you split it between breakfast and lunch it is understandable. I prefer to have an extra yummy big breakfast.
