Ingredients

    1/2 Cup warm water with 1 tsp sugar and 2 T yeast
    1 Cup Shortening
    3/4 Cup Sugar
    1 Cup boiling water
    1 Cup cold water
    4 Beaten eggs
    2 tsp salt
    8 Cups Flour

Directions

Prepare yeast mixture and let raise. Beat eggs and set aside. In large bowl combine shortening and sugar. Then add boiling water and mix thoroughly. Add cold water, yeast mixture, eggs and salt. Stir well. Add flour 4 cups at a time. Mix well. Let raise 1 hr.

Divide dough into thirds. Roll out each ball and cut into triangles. Roll each triangle. Place on greased cookie sheets. Raise 1 hr. Bake @ 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes.
