    1 pound dried beans
    1 onion
    3 celery stalks
    salt, pepper to taste

Directions

Soak beans overnight. Drain. Add water, 2 inches above beans. Bring to a boil. Add chopped onion, celery. Simmer 2 hours until beans tender. Season.
