Introduction
I am not very good at explaining things, but it's a pretty simple dish to make. I am not very good at explaining things, but it's a pretty simple dish to make.Number of Servings: 4
Ingredients
-
Devained and De-tailed Shrimp, 8 oz
Whole Wheat This Spaghetti, 8 oz (half the box)
Fresh Garlic, 5-6 cloves
Sliced Onion, 1/2 cup
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 5 tbsp
Butter/Margarine, 2 tbs
Basil (dry), 1 tbsp
Oregano (dry), 1 tbsp
Directions
First, cook the pasta per the package instructions. Make sure the noodles are about half way done before you start cooking the shrimp.
Start by heating the olive oil in a pan. Once hot, add the crushed garlic cloves and sliced onions and sautee until they are a light brown color. Now add the butter/margerine (whichever you decided to use). Once the butter is melted, add the shrimp and other seasonings. Cook the shrimp until they are pink and done to your liking. Once they are hot, add the cooked whole wheat noodles to the skillet and toss in the "sauce". I covered the skillet and let the noodles soak up the flavor for about 5 minutes. Uncover and serve!
