Introduction

Ingredients

    Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 19 oz can
    Onions, raw, .5 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp
    minced garlic (1 tsp)
    Tuna, Canned in Water, 1 can
    Hot Sauce (1 tsp) (add for desired hotness)
    Parsley, dried, 1 tbsp
    Kraft Light Done Right Ranch Salad Dressing, 3 tbsp
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Makes four servings (one cup each)

Add oil, garlic and onions in hot pan. Cook for about 1-2 minutes. Add chickpeas (drained and rinced). Allow to heat through the chickpeas. In separate bowl, mix drained tuna with hot sauce as desired. Add to chickpea mixture. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley, as desired. Once warm, turn off heat and mix in ranch dressing. Stir and serve.

This is great as a warm side dish for lunch or dinner. Or I like to make whole wheat pasta with spinach and mix it all together for a satifying and filling dinner wtih lots of protien and fiber.
