Introduction

This is a modification of a Cooks Illustrated Recipe for roasted carrots. This is a modification of a Cooks Illustrated Recipe for roasted carrots.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    4 oz raw carrots
    Butter Flavored Pam
    Butter Buds

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

2. Slice carrots in 4 inch strips no thinking than 1/4 inch each.

3. Completely cover carrots in butter flavored Pam

4. Place carrots into aluminum foil covered pan. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of butter buds over carrots. Salt and pepper to taste.

5. Tightly cover pan with aluminum foil.

6. Place pan in oven and bake for 15 minutes.

7. Remove aluminum foil. Bake for 10 minutes.

8. Turn carrrots over. Bake an additional 10 minutes.

9. Turn carrots over again. Bake an additional 10 minutes.

10. Remover from oven and enjoy.

    I fixed tonight but I just cut the carrots in half. Place them cut side down and sprayed w/Pam.
    I cooked for about 40 min. w/o turning the carrots. Delish.

    Very Good
    I made a variation of this tonight to go with lasagna. I just tossed the carrots with olive oil and Italian seasonings instead and they turned out great!
    I also added a little water to the pan before i first put it in the oven to steam the carrots a little better.
