    1 1/3 CUP QUICK OATS
    1 CUP FLOUR
    1 TSP BAKING SODA
    1/2 TSP SALT
    1/2 CUP CHOC CHIPS
    2 TSP SHORTENING (NOT BUTTER)
    1/2 CUP PEANUT BUTTER CHIPS

Directions

1 HEAT OVEN 350
2 BEAT PEANUT BUTTER & BUTTER IN LG BOWL UNTIL BLENDED. ADD SUGARS, BEAT UNTIL FLUFFY.
ADD EGG, MILK AND VANILLA; BEAT WELL. STIR IN OATS, FLOUR, BaKING SODA, AND SALT.
GRADUALLY BEAT INTO PEANUT BUTTER MIXTURE.
3 SHAPE INTO 1 IN BALLS. ROLL IN REMAINING OATS AND PLACE ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET
FLATTEN WITH FORK IN CRISSCROSS
4 BAKE 10-12 MIN COOL ON WIRE RACK.
