Ingredients
-
Dough Ingredients:
1 3/4 cup warm water
2 1/4 tsp (1/4 oz. pkg) active dry yeast
2 tsp salt
4.5 cups bread flour
3 T. olive oil
Toppings:
1 T. olive oil
garlic
8 oz. mozzarella cheese
1 c. feta, crumbled
4 oz. chicken breast (skinless), cooked
1 c. fresh spinach
6 pc. sun dried tomatoes
Directions
Preheat oven to 420 degrees.
Measure out 1 3/4 cups warm water. Sprinkle yeast on top and allow to activate for 10 minutes.
Add salt and flour into the mixer bowl and turn on to combine. Pour in the yeast and water. Add the oil. Mix on speed 2 for about 1 minute scraping sides if needed. Mix on speed 2 for two more minutes.
Place dough in a greased bowl and turn to coat all sides. Cover with plastic wrap. Allow dough to rise in a warm place for 45 minutes or until doubled in size, then punch it down. Divide in half. Each half makes 1 pizza.
Place on sprayed pan. Pre-bake for 3 minutes. Remove from oven and add desired toppings. Bake an additional 15 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.
Note: This recipe works well made in advance. I like to make it the night before and leave in the fridge overnight until ready to use.
