Ingredients

    600 gm top sirloin steak, thinly sliced
    2 cups carrots, thinly sliced
    1/2 cup sweet red bell pepper, thinly sliced
    1/2 cup snow peas, ends trimmed
    1/4 cup asparagus, cut into 2 inch pieces
    3/4 cup broccoli, cut into florettes
    1 Tbsp canola oil
    2 Tbsp cornstarch
    6 Tbsp dry sherry
    1 cup oyster sauce
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 tsp crushed hot red pepper flakes
    2 tsp grated ginger
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    454 gm whole wheat or Smart pasta (I use spaghetinni)

Directions

Cook pasta according to package directions.
Heat oil in a large frying pan. Brown beef in batches, remove from pan.
Mix cornstarch, sherry, oyster sauce, water, and hot pepper flakes. Set aside.
Add carrots to hot pan and stir fry a few minutes.
Add remaining vegetables and stir fry a few minutes, but still somewhat crispy.
Add beef and sauce to pan. Heat until heated through and sauce has thickened.
Serve over pasta.
