    Box Stove Top Stuffing Mix
    1 cup onions, chopped
    .5 cup celery, chopped
    1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
    1/2 small apple, finely chopped
    1 can apple pie filling
    16 oz pork chops (3 good size pork loin chops)


1. Saute onion and celery in butter in a medium size saucepan, stiring constantly until tender crisp. Add the apples, and water & butter required to make the stuffing, increase water by 2 tablespoons. Cook stuffing mix according to package directions. Let sit for aprox. 10 minutes. Stir in chopped pecans.

2. Spread pie filling into a small recutangular pan (7x5). Layer stuffing mixture over the pie filling.

3. Brown pork chops in the 2 tbl olive oil. Place pork chops on top of stuffing mixture.

4. Cover with tin foil and bake 350o for aprox. 40 minutes. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the pork chops.
