    juice from 4 lemons

    The taste reminded me of ginger ale. This makes lots and next time I would probably halve the recipe unless doing a meal for 10. I used sweeter apples than granny smith and it was sweet enough even with lemon. The lemon keeps the apple from browning or if it does the cinnamon covers. - 6/7/11
