Introduction

Ingredients

    5 small to med cloved garlic
    1.5 teas salt
    1 teas black pepper
    1 teas onion powder
    Zest of on lemon(about 2 Tbls)
    .5 cup FRESH lemon juice( Bottled won't work very well here)
    5 Tbls olive oil
    1 teas honey

Directions

In a large mortar & pestle grind the garlic and salt into a smooth paste. Add in remaining spices zest and lemon juice and stir well to incorporate. Add Oil in a thin stream while whisking vigorously. Then drizzle in honey while also whisking.

Makes 8 generous 2Tbls servings

    Sounds lovely. I am very bad for creamy dressings and trying to wean off as they are my downfall. This is very fresh sounding, keeping two weeks too. Very impressive and really worth doing to keep me out of trouble! - 3/26/15
