Introduction

I created this to help with my blood sugar. The addition of cottage cheese with some fat as opposed to Non fat was important to me. Ground or milled flax seed is also great fiber too. Whole seeds do nt digest so ground flax seed is recommended. Tracked for ground flax seed only. I created this to help with my blood sugar. Ingredients

    1/4 cup Oat Bran,
    1/2 cup Water (8 fl oz)
    1/2 Small Banana, (6" to 6-7/8" long)

    MICROWAVE on HIGH 2 Minutes

    ADD
    1 Tbs Cold Milled Flax Seed (optional, tracked included for good nutririon)
    1/4 cup Cottage Cheese, 1% Milkfat,
    Stir and enjoy.
    OR-Yogurt if preferred. Calculated for cottage cheese only.

Tips

I eat this in the am .
I always use this as my night time snack too, it helps my blood sugar in the am. I experimented with it taking my FBS often.
It works for me but not all diabetics I am sure.


Directions

Use DEEP microwave safe container
Add Oat Bran, Water and 1/2 small banana sliced.
MICROWAVE 2 minutes on high. Watch in case of boil over. Microwaves vary.
Serving Size: single serving.
Organic Oat Bran is gluten free if milled in a non wheat facility. You must check for that.
