Ingredients

    1.25 cup milk
    .25 cup water
    2 tbsp honey
    pinch salt
    tablespoon butter
    2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 cup oats
    1 cup ground flax seed
    1.25 packets rapid rise yeast

Directions

Add milk, then 1/4 cup water followed by: honey, pinch of salt, tablespoon butter, flour, flax seed and oats, then put the yeast on the top.
Set bread machine for whole wheat bread, light color, and 2 lb. settings.
With our machine, the bread is complete in about 3 hours and 40 minutes.

Serving Size: We cut about 12 slices out of 1 loaf.
