Ingredients

    1 cup corn meal
    1 cup unbleached flour
    1 tsp kosher salt
    1.25 tsp b. soda
    1 tsp b powder
    2 cups lowfat buttermilk
    1 egg

Directions

stir dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
beat egg well.
add buttermilk and egg to dry mix and mix well.
pour 1/2 cup to lightly greased/oiled heated skillet.
