Ingredients

    * 1 lb. Lean ground beef
    * 2 large eggs
    * 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
    * 1/4 cup wheat germ
    * 1/2 cup garlic and herb bread crumbs
    * 4 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
    * 4 tbsp ketchup
    * 2 tsp kosher salt
    * 1-2 tbsp prepared horseradish (optional)
    * Fresh ground peppercorn medley to taste

Directions

Use thawed extra lean ground beef. Whisk together egg, worchestershire sauce, ketchup, horseradish. Knead wet mix, onion, wheat germ, and bread crumbs into the ground beef. Season with kosher salt and peppercorn medley.

Patties may be divided ahead of time using a food scale and saran wrap. Cover the scale with a sheet of saran wrap, weigh out 4.5 oz of mixture, wrap the portion and flatten in palms. Alternatively, "eyeball" six equal portions and flatten in palms to grill all at once.

Serve on a whole wheat kaiser roll or multigrain flatbread with your choice of fixin's. :)

Serving Size: makes six 4-5 oz. patties
