Ingredients

    Pork & marinade: 3/4 lb pork, 2 T soy sauce, 1 T sherry, 1 T cornstarch, 1 T brown sugar, 1 T chili oil
    Spices:
    1 T ginger, 1 T garlic, 1 green onion, 1 heaping tsp chili paste
    Sauce:
    1 c chicken broth, 1 T sherry, 2 T soy sauce, 1 T rice vinegar, 0.5 tsp balsamic vinegar, 1 T sweet bean paste
    Veggies:
    2 T tree ears, soaked in water
    1 small Napa cabbage, chopped into 1/4s, then sliced into 1" pieces
    1 small onion, diced
    Thickener:
    1 T cornstarch in 2 T water

Directions

Marinate pork 60 minutes to overnight.
Soak tree ears in water, drain & rinse.
Prepare spices, sauce, veggies & thickener.
Stir-fry spices. Add onion. Add pork, then cabbage & tree ears. Add sauce & simmer until cabbage is cooked. Add thickener, stir until slightly thickened.
Serve it with rice -
