Introduction

This is a very easy and delicious recipe. One serving is about 2 Tablespoons and it looks like this makes about 2 cups depending on the size of your avocados, so I think this makes about 16 servings. You can also use jarred jalapenos, but I would then change the salsa, lemon/lime juice amounts, too. So, that's going to change the nutrition. The jarred jalapenos have vinegar which will help with reducing the browning of the avocados. Makes about 2 3/4 C. This is a very easy and delicious recipe. Ingredients

    -3.5 Haas California avocados, peeled and mashed
    -1 t minced garlic
    -1/4 t salt
    -1/4 t black pepper
    -2 t lemon juice
    -2 t lime juice
    -2 T salsa of your desired hotness

Directions

--Take your knife and gently go around the avocados in half. Twist and pull apart in two pieces. Tap your knife in the pit and then twist the knife to get the pit out. Take a spoon around the edge of the skin to scoop out the avocado into a small bowl.

--Add your other ingredients. If you don't use pickled jalepenos you will need to use lemon juice (about 1-2 t) which is important so the guacamole doesn't turn brown. Mash or chop depending on your liking for consistancy.

--Refridgerate for at least an hour for flavors to blend. Stir before serving.

--Makes about 16 servings of 2 T each.
