Ingredients

    2 Cups macaroni
    2 Cups Milk
    2 Cups grated cheddar cheese
    1/4 cup butter
    salt and pepper (what you prefer)
    Topping:
    1/4 butter
    12-15 saltines crushed

Directions

Cook macaroni and drain. Grate 2 cups cheese and set aside. Melt 1/4 butter in sauce pan. Remove from heat and add flour until blended. Stir in milk and salt and pepper. Return to heat and bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Add cheese and macaroni. Add to a casserole dish. Melt 1/4 cup butter and add crushed saltines. Pour on top of casserole dish. Bake for 20 minutes in a 375 degree oven.
