Ingredients

2 cans tuna (drained and rinsed)
1/2 c carrots
1/2 c green bell pepper
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c old-fashioned rolled oats
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1/3 c Miracle Whip Free Non-fat dressing
1 tbsp sweet relish
2 tsp dijon mustard
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Directions
1. In a large bowl, combine flaked tuna, carrots, bell pepper, onion and oats. Mix well.
2. In a small bowl, combine egg white, Miracle Whip, relish, mustard, garlic powder and black pepper. Combine using a wire whisk. Stir into tuna mixture until well combined. Form into 6 burgers.
3. Coat a large skillet with no-stick cooking spray. Heat over medium heat. Add oil and heat. Place burgers in hot skillet. Brown both sides until golden brown. Recoat skillet with no-stick cooking spray before turning to brown second side. Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 2 minutes to heat through.
4. Serve on whole-grain buns with lettuce, alfalfa sprouts and tomato slices. Makes 6 burgers.
5. Cut in half, thirds or quarters to serve samples.
