Ingredients
-
1/4 c butter
1 c milk
4 c. bread flour
1/2 of a 3.4 oz box of instant vanilla pudding
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 t yeast
1 egg
1/2 c. butter
1 c brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
4 oz cream cheese
1/4 c butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp milk
Directions
Note, Part of the prep time is rising time. It doesn't take 2 hours to prepare more like 15 mins.
Heat milk and butter together in microwave for 2 mins.
While heating milk and butter add all dry ingredients. Start mixer and add egg and milk mixture and mix well. I knead it in my mixer as well so mix a good 5-10 mins. Roll out dough into a rectangular shape. Mix butter, brown sugar and cinnamon and spread across dough. Roll it so it comes out as a long thin roll. Cut into 1 inch pieces with a chop and scoop knife. Place into jelly roll pan and let rise until doubled in size. Bake in 350* oven until browned on top, about 15 - 20 mins. Remove from oven. Make frosting by blending remainder ingredients together. Frost and serve while still warm.
