Made this for a big family dinner and everyone loved it! Plus it's very easy and makes great leftovers! Don't let the number of ingredients scare you. Just throw it all in a pot! Super easy! Ingredients

    3 Chicken breasts*
    Pinch of salt and pepper
    1.5 tbsp oil
    Pinch of cayenne pepper
    1 medium onion, sliced
    .5 tsp oregano
    1 clove garlic, minced
    .25 tsp basil
    2 tomatos
    Pinch of celery salt
    1/2 can tomato sauce
    1 bay leaf
    1 minced bell pepper
    1/8 cup chianti wine

    I also like to personalize it with whatever veggies I have on hand (i.e. broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, etc)

    *Can use frying chicken pieces but I prefer breasts because I usually have them on hand

Directions

1) Brown chicken in hot oil in a skillet then drain oil
2) Layer onions in crock pot then put browned chicken on top of it. Then add remaining ingredients
3) Cover and cook 1-2 hours
4) Discard bay leaf and serve
