High Fiber Oatmeal/Fruit Bar High Fiber Oatmeal/Fruit BarNumber of Servings: 15
Ingredients

1 Cup Whole Grain Pastry Flour
1 Cup Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Butter or Spread
1/2 Can Light Cherry Pie Filling
** Can substitute any pie filling for your taste.
Directions
Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes
Makes Approx 15 Bars if using 9 x 5 pan
Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda in bowl. Soften butter and add to flour mixture. Use fork to blend together till all is moist. Place 3/4 mixture into pan. Press into bottom. I used glass cooking dish so no greasing was necessary. Spread pie filling on top. Cover filling with left over flour mixture.
Bake for 25 minutes at 350 F. Let cool, cut and serve. Great for kids lunches or snack.
