Introduction
Recipe I found did not have flax or almond flour, but I thought a little texture would be good. I did not have almond flour, so I ground up a handful of almonds in the coffee grinder...worked fine. Could use a food processor for larger quantities. Recipe I found did not have flax or almond flour, but I thought a little texture would be good. Ingredients
-
1/2 banana smashed with one egg. 1 tbs almond flour and 1 tbs ground flax, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 3 drops liquid stevia, vanilla creme flavor. Mix up well.
Next time, I may add 2 eggs to up the protein amount and be a little more filling for a breakfast for me.
Directions
Heat over a medium temp griddle, I did not use spray. Let the pancakes sit for a good 5 minutes before turning, needed a little lifting of one side to get it not to stick to pan.
I did not put butter on them, but I guess you could. I am sort of afraid of tasting butter again after hcg, because I used to love butter on anything!
