Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 1/2 cups dried kidney beans, [soak overnight and drained]
    3 cups diced tomatoes with juice [I use low sodium]
    2 Tbsp minced garlic
    1 cup diced onions
    1 cup diced sweet peppers, green or a mix of colours
    1 cup diced celery
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    2 Tbsp chili powder
    2 Tbsp cayenne
    1 Tbsp paprika
    1 Tbsp black pepper
    1 tsp oregano flakes

Directions

Place all ingredients into a 5-6 Litre [quart] slow cooker.

Cook on low for 10 hours.

Serving Size: Makes 12 - 1 cup servings
