Ingredients

    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    6 tbsp butter
    6 tbsp vegetable oil
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 large eggs
    2 tbsp vanilla soy milk
    2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

Preaheat oven to 350f.

1. Combine the whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl.

2. In a large bowl, beat butter, vegetable oil, both sugars, and vanilla with an electric mixer until creamy.

3. Add eggs and milk to the butter-sugar mixture, beating well after each addition.

4. Gradually add the flour mix to the large bowl on low speed.

5. Stir in the chocolate.

6. Drop tablespoons of dough 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake until the edges are slightly golden-brown.
