Ingredients

    4 frozen chicken thighs, boneless/skinless
    1 large frozen chicken breast, boneless/skinless
    1-1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
    1/2 c. water
    1 onion, chopped
    2 tsp. minced garlic (or to taste)
    1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar (white vinegar is fine too)
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    dash red pepper, or to taste

Directions

Arrange frozen chicken in the bottom of crockpot. Add all other ingredients. Cook for 3-4 hours on High or 6-8 hours on Low.

Serving Size: Makes 5 good-sized servings (1 piece of chicken with sauce)
