This is my take on my favorite waffle recipes. I have replaced the oil with applesauce and use whole wheat flour and egg substitute. They are very hearty and filling. Directions

Beat the egg substitute til fluffy. Then add the remaining ingredients. Do NOT over stir or batter will be tough!

Pour 1/2 cup into waffle machine, and cook according to your own waffle machine instructions!

Enjoy!

I like to serve mine with whole fruit jam, instead of butter and syrup.
