Introduction
A delicious, easy to make snack that will satisfy your ice cream craving without ruining your diet! A delicious, easy to make snack that will satisfy your ice cream craving without ruining your diet!Number of Servings: 5
Ingredients
-
1.5 cups of milk (I used 1%)
3 Tbls of chunky peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
.5 tsp almond extract
one apple (I used red fuji)
4 or 5 Tbls of coffee mate powder (I used sugar free vanilla but you can use any flavor you like)
ice
optional: frozen banans
Directions
Take your blender and add:
1.5 cups of milk (I used 1%)
3 Tbls of chunky peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
.5 tsp almond extract
one apple (I used red fuji)
4 or 5 Tbls of coffee mate powder (I used sugar free vanilla but you can use any flavor you like)
and as much ice as you like for a thick consistency.
Make sure you blend it smooth and thick. You can enjoy it right away (will be just like a thick smoothie), or freeze it and enjoy it later.
Adding a frozen banana might add to the flavor and reduce the amount of ice needed :)
Milk can be substituted for soy milk (for vegans or those who are lactose intolerant). I believe the creamer is dairy free as well.
