Delicious marinated pork chops! Delicious marinated pork chops!Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
Pork Chops (I use two 3 oz. chops per person)
Brown rice (3/4 cups, cooked)
Flour (for breading)
Corn Starch (for breading)
1/2 cup canola oil, for frying
Marinate: water, 3 tbsp salt, 2 tbsp sugar, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 3 tbsp mustard, 1 tsp rosemary, 2 tbsp garlic powder, 2 tbsp black pepper
Directions
Marinate pork chops (bone-in) in soy sauce, sugar, salt, black pepper, mustard, and 1/2 cup water, for 15-30 minutes before cooking.
Mix flour and corn starch, then coat the pork chops all the way around, pat off excess. Add oil to pan, heat to about 375 farenheit, and fry about 3 minutes on each side (for a thin cut chop). Drain and let rest, and serve with brown rice.
Ingredients listed are for one serving.

I also used olive oil mainly because that's all I use. Cooked about 3-4 min on each side. We paired with rice and spinach. We will - 10/12/14
