Introduction

A good cream-style lemon sauce to serve over vegetables or pasta. A good cream-style lemon sauce to serve over vegetables or pasta.

Ingredients

    1 cup Lemon Juice
    1-15 oz can Canellini Beans, drained
    2/3 cup Nutritional Yeast
    1 tbsp Corn Starch

Directions

Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor.
Mix until smooth and pourable.

  • Definitely use a little less lemon juice in this, otherwise it's too overpowering. Be sure to use it as a base for a creamy pasta primavera, adding brocolli, cawliflower, etc. - 7/19/08
