Introduction

I got this from Hungry Girl I got this from Hungry Girl
Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    Chicken Breast, 12.5 ounces (Hungry Girl recommends canned chicken in this instance)
    *Kraft 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese, 0.25 cup
    Corn Tortillas, 10 tortilla, medium (approx 6" dia. Hungry Girl calls for 8" Tortillas but I couldn't find them.)
    Taco Seasoning- 3/4 tsp
    Salsa-.5 cup

Directions

Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
Combine chicken and salsa and put in fridge for 15 minutes. Remove from fridge and drain any excess water. Add cheese and taco seasoning.
Warm tortillas in the microwave between two damp paper towels-approx 1 minute.
Spread 2 Tbsp of filling on tortillas and roll tightly. Place on cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake 14-16 minutes or until crispy.

Serving Size: 5 Servings-2 Taquitos each

    Incredible!
    I feel bad rating this, since I essentially didn't follow the recipe very much. I already had leftover boneless skinless breast, wrapped it in tortillas, and baked. I'm rating because I followed your oven technique, and they were FANTASTIC.
    We used lettuce, cotija and salsa. YUM!

    Very Good
    Pretty good! I used low sodium taco seasoning and no salt added canned chicken so what it was kind of lacking was some "kick" despite using extra seasoning so maybe next time use some spicier salsa or hot taco seasoning. I broiled them for a little bit at the end to get the tortilla's nice and crisp - 3/15/12
