Introduction

I love green smoothies and the like but I'm naturally a cold person and need something to warm me up in the mornings. Even in the summer so this is my little creation. I love green smoothies and the like but I'm naturally a cold person and need something to warm me up in the mornings. Even in the summer so this is my little creation.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 large apple peeled and shredded
    1 cup of frozen or fresh blueberries
    4 dates chopped
    1/4 cup whole oats
    1 TBS chia seeds
    1 TBS flaxseed ground
    1 tsp of Chicory root (Just Like Sugar) or other sweetener
    2-3 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions

put all ingredients in a stainless steel or cast iron pot and bring to a simmer. Cook for 15 mins until apples and oats are tender but not a mushy pulp. Stir occasionally.

Serving Size: 2 servings of 3/4 cup to 1 cup each
