Ingredients

2 (26oz) cans Hunts Classic Italian Zesty & Spicy Spaghetti Sauce
1 package (about 16 oz) Italian Turkey Sausage links
    1 green bell pepper
1 medium onion (red, white or yellow)
8oz (about 2 small packages) of mushrooms
    2 Tablespoons Italian seasoning
1 lb package Angel Hair Pasta (any pasta will do)

Directions

Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Cut open the sausage links and add them to the skillet, break apart the meat so it cooks evenly. (A potato masher works good for this). Stir occasionally.

While the meat is cooking, chop up the bell pepper, onion & mushrooms.

Heat another deep pot over medium-low heat. When the sausage is no longer pink, transfer from the skillet it to the pot you have been preheating. Add the sliced/chopped mushrooms.

In the skillet you used for the sausage, add the onions & green pepper. Cook until the onion is translucent then add this mixture to the sausage & mushroom mix.

Add the Hunts spaghetti sauce & Italian seasoning to the sausage, mushroom, onion, green pepper mix. Cook for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

While the sauce is cooking heat a pot of water to boiling & cook your pasta according to package directions.

Note: You can use any type of pasta for this dish. The nutrition information is for 16 ounces of regular pasta.
