Ingredients

    2 cups fresh basil leaves (or more)
    1 tsp salt
    ½ cup olive oil
    ½ Tblsp grated Parmesan cheese
    2 Tblsp pine nuts
    2 Tblsp grated Romano Pecorino cheese
    2 cloves garlic, lightly crushed
    3 Tblsp softened butter

Directions

 Blend basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic cloves and salt in the blender and mix at high speed until ingredients are evenly blended
 Pour mixture into a bowl. Add the two cheeses and beat together by hand
 Beat in softened butter
 Add a tablespoon or so of the hot water from the pasta to the pesto
 Toss pesto with the pasta
