    2 meaty ham bones
    8 cups water
    2 cans green beans
    1 can yellow wax beans
    5 med potatoes peeled and diced

    (the beef broth was only for calories not to be used, this site does not have ham broth!!!)


Cook ham bones in water approx. 2 hours (or ham broth to yeild 8 cups.)
Remove bones and cool.
Add to the broth the diced potatoes, and canned beans; bring alomost to a boil; simmer for at leat 1 hour.

Clean and chop ham from bones add to soup. Cook at least 20 mins longer.
