Ingredients:
*Lipton Decaf Tea - 4 tea bags
*Lipton Regular Tea - 4 tea bags
Granulated Sugar, 1.5 cup
Water, tap, 16 cups
Directions
Put in pitcher 1/2 water (8 cups) and set pitcher in freezer. (If your freezer isn't big enough, use 8 cups ice filling the space between the ice with water & place in fridge.)
Put remainng 1/2 water (8 cups) in pot and set to boil. While that is coming to temperature. Remove tea bags from paper wrap and remove string & paper holder so only bag is remaining.
Once water comes to rolling boil, drop in all bags & turn off heat. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes remove tea bags from brew. Add full sugar to hot water and stir until completely dissolved.
If you placed your pitcher in the freezer, wait to combine with tea until a 2-3 ince ice ring forms in the pitcher. Then pour tea mixure over ice ring, stir well & place in fridge.
If you placed your pitcher in the fridge and used ice, then pour tea mixture in pitcher and combine immediately, stir well & place in fridge.
Serving Size: Makes 16 1 cup servings when over ice
