Introduction

This recipe has a chili-like consistency that is a real crowd-pleaser when serving taco salad to the whole gang. Not necessarily a low-fat/low-calorie recipe, but definitely tasty! Ingredients

    2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 16 oz can tomato sauce
    2 15 oz cans chili beans (red beans in chili sauce)
    1 28 oz can mild enchilada sauce (can decrease to 1/2 can if desired)
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Directions

Brown ground beef & onion. Drain off any fat and add rest of ingredients. Simmer for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or put in crockpot on low for 4-5 hours. Serve over corn chips & lettuce and then garnish with shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, etc.
