Introduction

I've made this several different ways: bulgar wheat with tofu; bulgar wheat with yogurt. It's a delicious main meal for vegetarians, and a fab side as well. Ingredients

    1/2 cup bulghur wheat (cracked wheat)
    1/4 chickpeas
    1/2 Cube Rapunzel Vegetable Boullion (got it from Trader Joes)
    1/4 Cup golder seedless raisins
    1 C water

Directions

Spray skillet with Pam; on medium heat brown bulghur wheat till it looks brown on edges. Add 1 Cup of water and raisins. Cover and lower heat.

Spray small skillet with pam, on medium heat, brown chickpeas till they are snap, crackle and popping for a few minutes.

When water is all gone from cracked wheat, turn of heat and fold in chickpeas.

Serving Size: Yields 2 One cup services, or 4 1/2 cup servings. I've done the calulator for 2 servings.
