For use in casserole, or on its own. For use in casserole, or on its own.

    1 pound lean ground beef
    1.3 pound ground turkey
    3 cups great northern beans
    1 cup canned pumpkin
    3.5 cups canned diced tomatoes (2 cans)
    1 large sweet onion, chopped finely
    4 cloves garlic, chopped
    chili seasonings, chili powder, cumin, cayenne, paprika, pepper, salt, etc.


Brown meats in large pot.
Add chopped onion and garlic, and seasonings, and cook for a bit.
Add tomatoes and pumpkin, combine well, and heat.
Add precooked beans, and cook for a couple hours on low.
Serve with sour cream and cheddar cheese, jalapenos, chips, cornbread, etc.
