Ingredients

1.25 pounds Top Sirloin Beef cut into 3 X 1 strips
2 Tsp olive oil
1/4 C Lite soy sauce
1 C chopped onion
1 garlic clove minced (optional)
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp ground ginger
4 tomatoes cut into 1/8ths OR 16 oz can of diced tomatoes w/ liquid
2 large green peppers (or 1 according to taste)
Basmati Rice- cooked separate and served in 3/4 cup
Directions
Brown Round Steak in olive oil in skillet. Put in crock pot.
Combine soy sauce, onion, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper and ginger and pour on top of meat in crock pot. Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours (till meat is tender).
Add 4 tomatoes cut into 1/8ths OR 14.5 oz can w/liquid, pepper strips and cook 1 hour longer
Serve over rice (or noodles)
