Ingredients

    Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean, 16 oz
    Seasoned Salt, 1 3/4 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1/2 tsp
    Bell Pepper, 1 medium
    Jalapeno Peppers, .1/2
    Onion - Raw, chopped, 1 cup
    Cumin seed, 3/4 tsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tsp
    Chili powder, 1 tsp
    Black Eyed Peas, 15 oz (1 can)
    tomato stewed (14.5 oz can=3.5 servings), 1 can
    Baking- Bisquick (heart smart), 1/2 cup
    Yellow Cornmeal, 1/2 cup
    Milk, Skim Milk, 1/4 cup
    Water 1/4 cup

Directions

Heat oven to 375

In Skillet cook Turkey, Salt, Pepper, Bell Pepper, Jalapeno and Onion over medium heat until thoroughly cooked. It should not need to be drained.

Stir in Cumin, Garlic Powder, Chili Powder, Black Eyed Peas and Tomato. Spoon into ungreased 8x8 glass baking dish.

Mix Bisquick, Cornmeal, Milk and Water together in a mixing bowl until well blended.

Spread evenly over beef mixture and bake 40 - 50m minutes until light brown on top.
