This is the original recipe shared with me by a friend, but it could easily be lightened up by using leaner meat and reduced fat soup and cheese.

This is the original recipe shared with me by a friend, but it could easily be lightened up by using leaner meat and reduced fat soup and cheese.

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb ground chuck
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 can (10.75oz) condensed tomato soup
    1 can (10.75oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
    8 oz egg noodles
    8 oz shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Brown ground chuck with onion and brown sugar, adding salt and pepper to taste. Drain fat. Stir in tomato soup.

Meanwhile, cook egg noodles per package directions and drain. Add cream of chicken soup to noodles.

Spread beef mixture in a greased casserole dish. Top with cheese, then noodle mixture.

Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes.
