1up flour .5cup milk
2tsp baking powder .3cup molasses blackstrap
.5tsp baking soda 1egg unbeaten
.5tsp salt .25cup shortening
1cup whole bran .5cup rasins
Directions
Stir flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together. Combine whole bran, milk, molassesand let stand until most of the moisture is taken up. Add egg and shortening; beat well. Add the rasins to the dry ingredients, then blend into bran mixture, stirring only until combined. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake in a hot oven (400*F.) about 20 minutes
