Introduction

These salmon patties are delicious and so quick you can whip them up in 15 minutes! These salmon patties are delicious and so quick you can whip them up in 15 minutes!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 can of salmon
    2 tbsp ground flax
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp garlic, fresh minced
    1 tsp minced onion
    season to taste with:
    onion powder (1/2 tsp)
    dill, fresh (2-3 tsp)
    light coat of olive oil (1 tbsp)

Directions

In a medium bowl mix salmon, egg, flax, onion, garlic, and seasonings. Blend with a fork until uniform. Divide in half twice to make 4 sections. heat medium skillet with light coating of olive oil; non-stick spray could be substituted. Form each section into a patty shape and place in pan. Cook over med-low heat for approx. 5 mn or until lightly browned. Turn the patties over then cover for remaining 5 min. I enjoy my patty on a whole wheat sandwich thin with 2 slices of avocado.

Serving Size: makes 4-2 inch patties or 2-4 inch patties
